Myanmar is undergoing transition at a tremendous pace. Changes are demanding new and different ways of thinking and doing things while presenting a unique opportunity to cultivate the skills and experiences required to successfully engage in this new context. For UNICEF, this changing context meant new opportunities and challenges to meaningfully engage young people as active citizens. One step in addressing this challenge was to embark on the establishment of the Myanmar Social Innovation Lab. The Lab, the first of its kind in Myanmar, brings together a number of partners with a focus on research, outreach and training, and solution design.
