UNICEF Chile is rolling out U-Report Chile through Twitter and SMS to engage young people in a range of key issues. In its first phase, issues prioritised by young people themselves are addressed -including sexual and reproductive health and teen suicide. Eventually U-Report will be used to engage young people in national policy development processes, linked to for instance the Constitution and the new Law on Education. U-Report Chile is positioned in partnership with The Ministry of Health, the National Youth Institute as well as local civil society organisations.
