WonderTree is using augmented reality to create games that are based on physiotherapy and cognitive exercises for children with disabilities. The child interacts with the game using body movements and gestures specifically designed to help with limbic movement, physiotherapy and cognitive function, subsequently their performance is recorded for progress monitoring. The current games of WonderTree are available in 35+ schools and 14 health clinics across 6 cities in Pakistan. During the investment period, WonderTree will develop an open source technology for human pose estimation. They will be collecting data to train the computer vision model for making AR more accessible using a webcam/phone camera instead of an external one. WonderTree will migrate 6 games to this technology and deploy them in 30 rural community schools.
